WNC DENTAL SAVINGS PLAN

Our goal is always to provide patient-focused dentistry. Dental insurance has become very expensive, and for many patients, it still does not meet their needs. We find it helpful to share a few key facts about dental insurance with our patients since dental insurance is very different from medical insurance. Unlike some medical plans, dental insurance never covers the entire fee. Annual out-of-pocket maximums are also much lower for dental insurance plans than for medical insurance. It’s worth noting that the standard fees at WNC Dental are generally lower than national averages. In addition, WNC Dental has contracted with many dental plans to accept even lower than our standard fees. As a result, we must collect deductibles and co-payments at the time of service.

Dental insurance plans are different from medical insurance.

Dental insurance comes in thousands of variations. Even within the same company, there may be many versions of a particular plan that your employer has decided to cover. For this reason, we are unable to give an exact summary of your costs or our payments in advance. In fact, all dental insurance coverages are estimates until the actual payment is received. We are committed to helping our patients navigate how to use their dental insurance to provide the best and most stress-free patient experience possible.
